VAT for EU orders is calculated automatically at checkout.
The VAT applied to your order depends on your delivery location, VAT registration status and other applicable factors.
You do not need to be VAT registered to order from Something Different Wholesale. We accept orders from both sole traders and registered companies.
Under our current EU ordering rules:
- Customers who are not VAT registered are normally charged 21% VAT.
- Eligible VAT-registered EU businesses may receive a 0% VAT rate.
- Different VAT treatment applies to deliveries to the Netherlands.

If your business is not VAT registered in the EU or Ireland, you will be charged VAT at 21%.
If your business is VAT registered in your delivery country or anywhere else in the EU, including The Netherlands, a 0% VAT rate will apply as per the VAT exempt intra-community transfer (Article 138, 2, c) Directive 2006/112/EC).

If your business is not VAT registered in the Netherlands or any other EU country, you will be charged VAT at 21%.
If your business is VAT registered in your delivery country or anywhere else in the EU, including The Netherlands, a 0% VAT reversed charged rate will apply. If your business is registered in another EU country, a 0% VAT rate will apply as per the VAT exempt intra-community transfer (Article 138, 2, c) Directive 2006/112/EC).
